  • Thesis: Comparative Analysis of Fine-Tuned Sentence-BERT and GPT Prompting Strategies in Automated Short Answer Grading Classification (Colab); paper awaiting publication.
  • Findings: Across six grading methods on 2,442 student answers, fine-tuned Sentence-BERT scored the best F1 on open-ended questions (0.92) at zero API cost, while GPT-5.4 few-shot led on close-ended questions (0.98).
